I purchased Powerstop S2808 front calipers for my 2005 Acura RSX Type-S and installed them in February 2017. I was a little suspicious of the two front "performance" calipers, which were only slightly more than the price of a single competitive caliper remanufactured. At first I was very happy with them. Powerstop claims they are powder coated. Either they are lying or the process is very cheap and done wrong because they only become detached after a couple of months of daily driving. Fast forward to today (3/2020), about 3 years from now. The front passenger side caliper started to bind and my brakes got very hot. I'm pretty sure I deformed the front rotor a bit. I emailed Powerstop support for a warranty replacement. Surprisingly, I received a response within 24 hours. I sent a purchase confirmation and didn't get a response from them for a few days, so I sent another email. They replied very briefly and said they would send a replacement if available. I asked when that would be and I'm still waiting for an answer. I will update this review later. As the name suggests, you get what you pay for. They are cheap but the quality is below average and the customer service is below average. Once I have this replacement saddle I will not be buying it again. In the future I will buy from another remanufacturer or upgrade to a larger set of brakes.
