First, yes I know I disabled the Honda CRV's streetlights. But let me tell you, these things are BRIGHT! You can easily project light 3 blocks down and the spread is decent too. To be honest I know nothing about manual work on cars so it took me forever to figure out how to install them properly. But as soon as I called some fellow drivers to help me out, we quickly installed and tuned them in. I live in the Pacific Northwest where EVERYONE has headlights on elevated 4runners or jeeps. I travel a lot in the mountains and desert of eastern Washington and these lights saved my life! The only downside I can think of with these particular lights would be the lack of a metal stone grille above it as the front plastic seems a bit flimsy. But these lanterns are dangerously good, I find I can't wait to turn them on at night even though they're actually illegal where I live (it takes so much willpower not to use them!) And so the only problem is, trying not to turn them on when I shouldn't! I also had to re-enter the factory code into my radio to get the sound back as installing these lights reset my battery, car radio and clock. also reset. In general, installation is a hassle, but worth it if you're familiar with working with a car or have people who can help. These headlights turned my Football Mom car into a slightly less shabby jeep wannabe and I love it.
