my barberess explained to me why I should have one of these round brushes and so I bit the bullet. woah. I'm sure you can get the same effect with any brush, but I like the size and heft of this one. the bristles are nice, sometimes I'll even brush my beard -- it's not too stiff or pokey. I'm about to order a travel-sized one.it also comes with a little cleaner tool, which was a nice surprise.
