Great helper for hand tools

When I'm installing aluminum soffits and curbs, you're standing high on a ladder or scaffolding and trying to grab small nails around to secure them. With this screwdriver, you insert a nail into the screwdriver shaft, place it where you want it, and then hit the bottom shaft of the screwdriver with a hammer. This reduces the number of dropped nails and their misplacement, and also plugs holes in aluminum siding due to the lack of a nail head. You get used to it, and you can feel the nail being driven all the way in, and I've observed on the barrel of a screwdriver how the metal shows slight scuffs or a slightly different color after use, indicating the nail is fully driven in. Path. I would say it doubles your nail speed and greatly reduces the number of mistakes like bent nails or wrong place when slipping. I'm used to using an extra finger on the tool to hold the barrel and stock together between hammer blows, otherwise when nailing mostly vertically, gravity will cause the stock to fall to the bottom of the barrel, slowing the nailing down a bit. Great tool, good workmanship and reasonable price. If you need to finish, buy it, looks like it will last you for many years. It won't fix all mistakes, oversights, or misjudgments, but it will speed up the process, and it's made in the USA!
