I bought the Bobster "Bug Eye" goggles and they are ok but I like them MUCH better. They fit my face better, are more compact and portable when you're not wearing them, and I think they're more windproof. The cover and the cleaning cloth are also very nice little things. I ride an ElectraGlide with fairing and a very short windshield, so I can't comment on how they perform in direct wind, but they're perfect for my purposes. I wear contact lenses and they offer much better wind protection than the foam backed sunglasses I used to wear. I liked them so much I just ordered a clear pair for night riding to replace my bird's eyes. They take a bit of getting used to as they sit in the eye socket (like glasses) and fold down in the middle which might bother some people. Think of them as in-ear vs. in-ear headphones. If you like the behind-the-ear style, you'll probably like the eye bugs better. My handsome, chiseled, and fully proportioned features just don't have the surface it needs to look normal, but if you have a massive head and an impossibly large face (or if you just like the feel of glasses that sit on the outside eye sockets and not fold in half), choose bug eyes. Otherwise get them, you will probably be very satisfied, I am. Enjoy the trip!
