I bought this litter mat with some skepticism, but it has been fantastic. I put my cat's litter box in the back corner of the mat so she has to walk several steps across to enter or leave. There were fewer specks of little on the carpets and when I swept the floor. It was a noticeable difference. When you really see the difference is when you empty the litter and separate the two sides to empty the little caught under the surface of the mat. Maybe a hand full of litter pours out from between the two sides of the mats. I absolutely love this mat and I have recommended it to friends/family.
