The item gets five stars from me based off of what it was asking. However, I still have litter all over my apartment. It did not do much to help with tracking litter.

It’s a good mat but I think it could be improved. It’s impossible to pick it up without the litter spilling on the floor - although the point is that you can pick it up and the open it and dump it in the trash. I was originally sent the wrong color but they corrected it right away - so customer service was good.

Got this for in front of litter box and so far it seems to work fine. I just get tired of litter being tracked all over and really hope this will tack care of that. I’ve had for two weeks and no more litter so glad I found this, I got the large.

This mat is fantastic because it isn't an eyesore in our bathroom, but has prevented a ton of cat litter from getting on our hardwood floors. Not a total preventer, but litter is litter. I would 100% buy again.

It's unbelievable how much litter this mat catches even with the so called "non-tracking" litter. I have had many mats in the past and by far this one is the easiest to clean by pulling it out from under the box, letting the litter slide towards the middle of the mat and then folding it enough to either empty the loose litter back in the litter box or dispose of it. Never smells or looks dirty.

So far it has kept about 95% of the litter my baby brings out with her and thats more than progress! And then I just lift and pour into litter box. Amazing invention for kitties who like to track a lot of litter. My cats litter box has a top and a door yet she still manages to bring tons of litter out with her.

The instructions say it will lay flat if I put something heavy on it for a few days. I did for weeks and it still has large fold creases. Also, my cats hate the feel of it on their feet so they leap out of the cat pan, over the mat to avoid touching it. Thus rendering the mat useless to me. I still have litter on the floor.

I do not like this design, they should have sealed one side of the mat, both side are open so litter can fall out either side when you go to dump it. An litter can fall out of the holes when doing so. Great idea poor design.

Conceptually the product is great, but in practice, it doesn't actually help with litter tracking. I have a top exit litter box and my cat happens to only come out of it on the side where there's no top to hop onto, and in the process, she flings the litter out everywhere. Only a little bit of it is caught by the mat. Also there mat comes folded and the crease from the folding never seems to straighten out.

I bought this litter mat with some skepticism, but it has been fantastic. I put my cat's litter box in the back corner of the mat so she has to walk several steps across to enter or leave. There were fewer specks of little on the carpets and when I swept the floor. It was a noticeable difference. When you really see the difference is when you empty the litter and separate the two sides to empty the little caught under the surface of the mat. Doesn’t seem to trap the litter very well, I think there is more on my floors than from when I just used little litter mats.

Definitely does the job. We went from cat liter all over the house to just in the laundry room with the liter box. Thanks for attention.

It came folded in quarters with a note how to get the creases out but that didn’t work! My mad won’t lay flat! Big fold like a tent in the center. Useless.

I love cats, but I don't love litter remnants scattered on the floor as they hop on out of the box. I got two of these mats to sit outside the litter box and they catch most of the pieces. Every couple of days I pick up the mat and empty the pieces it catches back into the box. So, success!

We always have litter on the floor around the boxes; very annoying! This mat really catches the litter, and is amazingly easy to clean out - way better than any of the multitude of mats that we've tried.The only down side for us is that we have 2 boxes that are not next to walls, and even 2 of the large mats isn't quite enough area.

After having this for months I can say I finally chucked it in the trash today. It does not work. It makes more of a mess. That's my review.

This litter mat does a great job collecting litter. I have seen significantly less litter tracked down my stairs and onto my rugs. It's a good size to protect the area around the litter box and the cats accepted it with no issues. I like the color I chose as it matches my flooring. The mat is working, I like that the litter is not sitting 'on top' of the mat. I find that no matter what mat I use, nothing will stop the spread of litter completely, especially when you have a cat that jumps out of the box! My only real complaint is that it is still not laying flat, and yes I had heavy stuff on it for 5 days before using.

Unfortunately this "envelope” opens on both short ends making it difficult to pick up the mat without litter spilling out of one of the ends. Does the job at catching litter thrown from the box be a messy kitten though. Great overall, just hard to clean.
