Very bright idea! No pun!

I used these to replace worn out LEDs in my range hood that had clearly faded in a year. Made in China, great. So far they are really bright and light up my hob nicely. Just be very careful with the size of the cutout. They only fit a certain hole size. Not to mention that you couldn't think of any other way to store them. I did it! Also note that they are rated for 12 volts and do not come with a DC step-down transformer.

Pros

Slim, lightweight body ---- It works well in tight spaces. You can install it anywhere extra lighting is needed.
