Review on πŸ”Œ Maximizing Efficiency: Introducing Through Connectors Modular Stranded Network Solution by Craig Lovro

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Why didn't I know they existed years ago?

Yes, you still need to carefully line up the wires. Yes, you need the right crimping tool for this, which actually terminates the wires after they have been fed through. as deep into the plug as possible, they're worth it. I added Cat6's throughout the house and easily saw gigabit speeds when crimped properly and a crimping tool from Klein Tools that had handy markings for wire placement. As always, double or triple check wire order before crimping. And a wired tester is a good idea too, in some cases it saved me time. All in all, it came out $150 cheaper than a WiFi mesh network, but it certainly came from me with all the work involved. But the confidence in a quality wired signal made all the work worth it. If you choose to use cables, adding these connectors will definitely make the whole process easier.

Pros
  • βœ… The anti-tangle tab on our strain relief extends over the connector retention tab, extending the life of the patch cord and giving the connectors a professional look. They also adhere to bend radii to meet standards.
Cons
  • Out of style
