I bought this trimmer to trim my dog - Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I find it funny that caring for a small dog costs so much. If I were to show my pup at a dog show that would be one thing, but I just want to trim her coat. I used scissors and they did the job but I didn't like the result. I've wanted to buy an electric trimmer for a long time, but hesitated. She got upset when I tried to use an electric nail file on her. These trimmers worked like a charm! The sound didn't bother her too much. I hope the more I cut her hair, the less sensitive she becomes to it. I got a full body treatment for the first time! I still need to practice my dog grooming technique a bit, but I'm happy with how it turned out. I have used other trimmers in the past and experienced cuts and scrapes with them. I could easily cut between the balls of her feet. What is particularly pleasant is that the cost of these clippers turned out to be less than the cost of a grooming session. It also saved my car from dog hair. It's a win - a win in my opinion. On the other hand, our country is in a Covid-19 crisis and I can use it on my teenage son's hair as all the salons and hairdressers are closed. The only problem is that he may (will) complain about his haircut while my dog seems pretty happy with his haircut!
