Bought these for a friend who has Raynaud's disease. We had hoped for winter runs in the fresh air. I'm sitting by the heater, it's 42 degrees outside and my house isn't much warmer. I had a pair of padded Zulu running socks that I bought from a running store years ago and switched to trying on. my fingers are cold My 5+ summer socks were warmer than these. I put the Zulu back on and notice the difference. My Zulu socks are made from a wool blend. They are good in terms of comfort and fit, but they do not warm the feet. I thought wool would make a difference but it's not for me.
