I used to have a set of Harbor Freight wood chisels but they weren't very good. They dulled quickly and didn't have a metal hammer on the end like these! They came sharply and quickly turned the knob on my friend's apartment door. They are not the highest quality steel as I can see a few nicks on the cutting edges from average use. Aside from that, a sharpening stone and jig are included so I'm not too concerned about some edges that aren't 100% perfect. They are of a higher quality than what you will find at Harbor Freight or similar bargains. , so I'd say they're excellent for casual use by those who aren't particularly picky about the brand of instrument. All in all they are a great addition to my workshop tools and I think they will last me quite a while. I recommend getting a set!
