This is the best food thermometer I have ever had. I cook a lot and use it every day. Now everything I cook that can be useful at a certain temperature is done right. I made egg custard today, searched online for the best internal temp, and yes, it was perfect. I also made a chicken dish in the oven and got it out just in time, no overcooked gummy, no guesswork. It's very easy to use, easy to clean, easy to read, etc. It's magnetic so it sticks to the fridge door (outside). As far as I can tell, all of the manufacturer's claims about this kitchen thermometer are correct. I have experienced it myself. I even used it to check the temperature in the fridge. I'm so glad I bought this. It's not a gadget, it's a tool. money well spent.
