Review on π§ Fluval Ceramic Shaft Assembly, for Impellers with Straight Fan Blades - Ideal for Models 304, 305, 404, 405 by Eden Smith
The shaft is somewhat fragile.
This is the second order in 6 months. I'm not sure if ceramic is cheap, but it keeps breaking. The second has been working for a long time without any problems. I clean the filter about every 2-3 weeks. I have a backup, it's chrome. I don't like using this one because it's on a seawater tank and the metal will rust.
