It has its pros and cons. but overall a very good bassinet

There are many good things to say about this bassinet and some things I would like to change/update. To clarify, I purchased a model that is not height adjustable but has a drop rail that locks into place. Installation: This is a fairly simple installation. It comes in its original packaging and all parts are well packed/folded and neatly stored in the travel bag when you open the box for the first time. The instructions aren't great, but you should be able to figure it out. They have a diagram of the legs to install, but they don't show which legs are on which side or orientation. A few tips: the legs should curve outwards, not inwards, and the legs with the extra gray part (where the drop rail snaps in) should face forward on the same side. As for the support beams under the bassinet, the one with the clips should be on the front of the bassinet (this is for securing the bassinet to your bed if you wish). The installation takes a maximum of 10 minutes. Aesthetics: This bassinet is aesthetically simple and pleasing to the eye. I liked the wooden railings and legs against the gray background. Very versatile and does not harm the eyes. Function: The cradle is very spacious. For most people, this should take at least 6 months (by which time your baby will either be too big or too heavy). When the front rails are in the down position, they perfectly match the height of our mattress. For reference, the height from floor to top of our mattress is 24 inches. When we stand in front of our bed, the railing is flush with a 9" ledge to the bassinet cushion. There is a clasp around the zip which hides the extra mesh when folded down to keep everything looking tidy. The mattress pad itself is soft and firmer, which a newborn/toddler needs. The carrycot is very spacious and the other three walls rise high for safety as the child grows and becomes more mobile. The legs leave plenty of room under the carrycot to put down a diaper tray or to store things. I plan to just put the cart next to the crib for easy access to diapers, wipes, etc. Cons: I wish there were lattice walls everywhere. I'm not sure how safe it is to wear the material up to the railing on all three sides, or how breathable it is. (Check out the MaxiCosi Iona bassinet - the net all around looks great and secure.) There's no storage underneath, but there's plenty of room underneath to hide a trolley or bin. Looks a little cleaner as nothing is hanging underneath. The height is perfect for us, but to make it more versatile for other families I don't see why it can't be designed to be height adjustable. If you look at other models, the only thing missing is a vertical piece at the top of the legs that could be adjusted. I chose this model because the railing can be locked instead of just hanging and the profile of the legs was a bit more aesthetic. The mattress topper looks like it will be easy to clean, but sheets are not included. It is simply covered with a plastic vinyl coating. It's also difficult to find bassinet sheets that match the size of the rug. However, you can get free sheets from AMKE if you email them. That's just the look of frei I didn't really like. The overall design is simple, good looking, spacious and relatively easy to assemble (no tools required!). The bed position is really convenient in the middle of the night. And being able to fix the railing is a bonus for us. It's durable and I have no issues with materials/construction. Also the price is on the lower end for a cot. Overall a good buy, it just doesn't have all the bells and whistles of some other carrycots on the market.
