Review on 🌾 Silver Deluxe Grain Mill VKP1024 - Small Size by Michelle Miller

I have several grinders and this one grinds whole white wheat (gold) into fine flour without a long break-in period. The first grains were ejected, as is the case in every mill. In contrast to other mills, the grinding discs are carefully manufactured from stainless steel. Instead of multiple passes, you load the hopper with whole grains, set the dial to the exact position, and turn the crank. This is slower than most grinders, but requires less re-grinding. In addition, this grinder is easier to turn and is not as noisy as others. In that case, don't try Nixtamal (lime-treated wet corn). Dry beans are fine, but Nixtamal won't feed the burrs properly. My only complaint at the moment is that the dial tends to wander. A set screw/wing nut to hold the dial in place helps. I marked the dial and case with a marker to track their location. Watch out for plastic parts; Don't lose them in the sink. I've had good customer service with Victorio so far so I'm sure they will supply a replacement.
