My 15 year old Little Giant 5.5 ASP drain pump stopped working through the float. After spending $50 replacing parts and getting more and more frustrated, I finally found and bought this thing. Really easy to install so far and after a few rains it works great. There are only 2 minuses, because you need to figure out how to put the pump in always-on mode. I just lifted the lever and tied it down. Another disadvantage is that small sensors can be a bit awkward to mount with cable ties. The ones supplied are too short and the sensors are encased in a plastic mount, but it would be nice if they made holes for threading the zip tie. Simply wrapping it around the sensor doesn't hold it very securely, and the slightest movement on the wire will cause it to slip out of the tie. It's not a deal breaker, just a way to make it easier to use.
