This works very well for my application of hanging a TV on a built in bookshelf. I screwed two supports into the horizontal shelf and aligned them so that one of the vertical members lined up with the TV's right panel. I had to build a "plug" to match the bottom left panel or the TV would hang crooked, but this little addition works great. The instructions were from IKEA - mostly pictures. Here's a handy tip: if the supplied screws are the wrong length, they will come with a set of spacers that are exactly half the depth difference between the various supplied screws. Insert one of those standoffs into the brackets and a slightly overlong screw is just right! These seals aren't even listed in the owner's manual. Please note that with this type of mount, the TV is almost flush with the wall. You'll need right angle plugs for any plugs you plan to use on the back of your TV or they won't go through the wall. Either that or create a "pocket" in the wall to hold the cables. Or you can use the side jacks that are available on most TVs these days. I didn't have this problem as I didn't have a wall, but I had to adjust the height of the set as one of the end caps was resting against the horizontal shelf. I know that Samsung offers several mounts that add an additional 1/2 inch to the distance from the wall - I didn't use them for my application, but it might help in a wall mount scenario.
