The mounting holes on my Samsung TV were too close together for this mount to work properly. I ended up attaching the cable to the wall and the aluminum discs to the TV. I had to replace the stainless steel cable with a longer one. But considering the price of the device, it was worth it. The design calls for picks to be attached to wall studs (usually 16" apart) so the mounting holes on the TV must be more than 18" apart. Not with my TV.

My landlord didn't want the apartment I lived in to have a lot of holes so I looked for alternative ways to mount my flat screen and found these Hardware. As simple as the design was (essentially turning the TV into a picture frame), I was amazed at how solid everything was once complete. Installation is easy and you end up with just 2 holes in the wall for everything. This is a great option for those who rent or don't prefer standard wall mounts.

Having owned a Samsung photo frame mount for over 5 years, the end of the plastic where the cable runs has broken. Thank goodness it was on new installation after painting. New house and new TV I thought why not for this price. This is adjustable, making it very easy to position and align the TV. It took me multiple times to reach the height I was aiming for. The Samsung version was a fixed cable, so the installation had to be very precise. I will buy another set for my bedroom.

Great idea. Installed on an old Vizio 42". Every detail in the lighting is solid and well finished. A complete set of screws and gaskets for mounting the TV I would just mount it directly into the rivets on the wall. Molly studs that just go into the drywall feels risky due to the weight of the TV. I really like this type of mount, but you have to be prepared for an extremely detailed installation. This will be the slimmest installation you've ever seen, but you need to be prepared down to the last detail, so be patient and take your time. This works very well for my application of hanging a TV on a built in bookshelf.
