With a van cross country without a CD player but with an aux connection (I hope it works!). Wanted to listen to books on CD and listen to music of our choice as we weren't sure what kind of signal we could get at some points. So I did a little research and came across this device. It seemed a bit expensive but it works well. Since it's USB powered, we can charge it in the car (I bought a car cigarette lighter adapter but I didn't need it for this device, although I think it will work too). I like that it remembers where you were last listening (if you remember to put the slider on hold). The sliders (for power and for opening the device) are a little hard to see, but once we get started I'm sure we'll remember which slider is which. Came with its own aux cable - hooray! Slim unit, easy to carry.
