I was impressed by this shoe

I only ordered green and white shoes because they were cheaper and I could afford the price. I wasn't sure at first about these shoes as in the past I haven't had much luck with laceless shoes because they always constricted my foot in the toe area and pinched my foot which was very uncomfortable. Even after wearing the slippers for a long time, nothing has changed in terms of comfort. I needed something to replace my flip flips/sliders and I decided to try slip ons again. They turned out really great shoes and surprised me. I wear 11.5 inch shoes and I ordered this in them based on Amazon's suggestion for a fit. In my experience, slip-ons are rather narrow and long, so I usually have to wear a smaller size so that the heel doesn't slip off, otherwise the shoe becomes too big. The toe box isn't narrow enough to squeeze your foot, but I wouldn't say it's as wide as a regular basketball shoe, hiking/running shoe, or running shoe. It's not a tight shoe like the Sperry or other similar slip-on shoes. This shoe fits my foot perfectly, not only in the toe area but also in the width. As I order my normal size there is some room in the heel area but this doesn't cause heel rub from slipping which I've noticed since I've been wearing them. I'm sure socks with them will fill that gap, but they're comfortable without socks. I've worn them barefoot on short walks and shopped for a couple of hours and can't complain. The shoes seem to have a good grip which is important to me and are very light on the feet. These slippers don't have that artificial rubber that makes you feel like your feet will slip if you take a wrong step. I don't have wide feet, but I'm not too narrow either, and these shoes are very comfortable. It's a little tricky to just slide your feet in like a slider, but I think once you break them it might be easier to slide with some jiggle power. I wear them when I'm too lazy to put on regular shoes, which is probably becoming more common because I really like wearing them. I didn't think I would like the color chosen but after putting it on I really like it and the color looks nice. I don't wear Etnies but I will wear them often and I would buy them again. I would love to buy more other colors but the prices on Amazon are a bit high for me unless you start as much as I did.
