I have a Germ Guardian Tower and replacement filters are not cheap. I tried these and I wasn't disappointed! They work just as well as the originals, perfect for the fan and very quiet. It comes with extra black filters as they need to be changed more often than HEPA, but I'm happy to forget (oops!). When you notice the fan starting to run louder, it's time to replace the filter. I'm really surprised at how quiet the fan is when you put in a new filter! Filters have a major impact on air quality. My mine is open 24/7 to reduce dust, cat dander, pollen and mold caused by moisture. I could probably have three more of these in my house with all of Florida's many allergens. I just checked the filter after 3 months and it already had to be replaced so I'm glad these two packs are much cheaper than OEM. time to order more. The photo shows a clean filter and 3 months of use.
