Review on 🖥️ SilverStone Technology LD03B: Mini-ITX Computer Case with Tempered Glass, Vertical Design by Marc Gallner

I like the look of this case and it was fairly easy to install. It's hard to find reverse cases. My biggest gripe with this case is the lack of ventilation for the intake fans on the front. Higher quality tempered glass cases have vents on both sides of the front panel to allow for better airflow. The design for this case allows for limited airflow at the top and bottom of the front panel. Even with two 140mm fans, it couldn't pull in enough air to make the Wraith cooler efficient enough for the Ryzen 9. It idled at 50-55 degrees and quickly hit 80+ degrees under moderately heavy loads. . I replaced the Wraith cooler with a Corsair H115i with dual 140mm fans to eliminate the temperature rise that was exacerbating the GPU issue. This dropped my temp to around 40-45 degrees at idle and around 70 degrees under the same previously moderately heavy loads. The temperatures are still higher than we would like, but perfectly acceptable. Note that with a thicker GPU like the 2070 Super you don't have room to mount top exhaust fans, so you only end up with a 120mm exhaust fan. This works well if you have a case with a lot of intake airflow, but again it really isn't enough. Your fans have to work hard to keep things cool, so expect some extra noise. Bottom line I like the case and it will work fine. However, given the demands of my system, I would opt for a larger case with better airflow if starting fresh.
