Revain's description and compatibility option says this part is compatible with Nissan 96 Pickup but it is not. Yes - Can it roll over and start my truck? Yes - missing a factory connector on the bottom? Yes, but I can still start my truck. - Does the unlocking key fit the factory steering column cover? No. The unlocking key is on the top and the factory version is on the bottom, so it doesn't work with the steering column cover. Also, the handlebar height/angle is locked and I can't adjust it. This part might work if it didn't, and I was itching to trim the speaker's factory cap to fit. Disappointed and sent back. It arrived in the mail much earlier than expected, so there it is. changed to not include the same year as my truck. Thought I'd give a small update anyway for anyone who might have a similar issue. I ended up having to use a different ignition switch made for a different year of my truck. It fits my steering column perfectly and includes the missing connector which this model does not have. Speaking to a mechanic, they said that sometimes a manufacturer can swap out parts mid-production, so you might have to go ahead or back a year to get a compatible part. I hope that was helpful.
