If you were to spend $300 on a chair like this it would probably be a 10 out of 10. So you get what you pay for. This is a comfortable chair. Good design. One of the reviews I read before buying this chair said it was uncomfortable. Wrong, that's the best part. The seat is padded and the backrest rests right on your lower back where you need it. The gas tank is larger than most chairs and works well. There are some negatives. When I received the package it was blown up inside as if it had been thrown in the street before it got to me. Luckily no damage. Fit, workmanship and quality are fine. You get what you pay for. It has no ratchets. This may or may not be an obstacle. The height is advertised as 29 inches, but when seated it drops to 27 inches. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give it an 8. I would buy another one if the manufacturer offered a higher quality one with a real leather seat. I paid $139 for Revain. For me it costs about $100. I've seen it on other sites selling it for $179.
