Everything seems fine now with the replacement sink water filters
The first one I received had the tab in the lid broken making it difficult to close. Revane replaced him (easily). The instructions say to hand tighten it, but it leaks. I added some more silicone grease, tightened the glass until it touched the gasket, then a 1/4 turn of the included wrench seemed to do the trick. Also, use lots of teflon tape on the input and output sockets, otherwise those suction cups are likely to leak.
