First I need to say that this Grey hat was packaged worse than any package I’ve ever received from ebay, and I’ve been ordering from them since 2004. It was in an envelope that was open and never sealed. The only reason it arrived is because the zip inner pack the hat comes in was stuck to the tape at the top of the envelope (that you usually fold over and seal). I was shocked that it arrived, since it traveled all the way to Northern MN in an open envelope. Second, I ordered the same hat (only in khaki) last year and love it. I thought I’d get a new one this year in light grey. I feel as if this new Grey one is smaller (I have a big head so this is not good for me) and it’s stiffer than the khaki hat which makes it lay funny on the head. (The only way I can explain it is to relate it to something else. It’s similar to a stiff T-shirt that sticks out versus a nicer one that’s made with better fabric that lays nicely on the body.) I’m super sad because I wanted to take this on a hiking trip to AZ, but it won’t be going with me. I’m afraid it would be annoying and uncomfortable (not to mention too tight on my big head.)
