Ordered 2 elite units and received 2 regular units with no extra filter media and other things mentioned which I paid an extra $20 each for ($40 total). And they are very loud, they make a lot of noise. If you put them on the ground it's a bit quieter, so I don't recommend putting them at the same height as the tank. One makes a whistling noise and the other makes a whistling noise about every few minutes. The fill button didn't work. I had to fill it with water first and siphon the water through the outlet hose (swallow fish water) to make it work. They are louder than hanging on the rear filters. Extremely disappointed. Will not buy again nor recommend to friends. I want to return the money and send it back. Don't buy if you don't mind the sound. Also don't buy the elite units, they are no different from the regular ones and they charge an extra $20 for them with the extras listed, but send a regular unit and it doesn't come with any of the extras listed. Completely disappointed and feel cheated. Attention, do not buy elite units full of plagiarism. I paid $350 and they sent me the same thing which I was able to pay $300 for. UPDATE: 7/10/18 Penn contacted Plex and they sent me 2 extra units. Actual elite units with the supplements indicated. Great company and great customer support 5/5 stars, the devices are quiet even after a few days of work. Great units for the price. Would recommend to a friend and will order again in the future.
