These gloves are awesome. They offer: - EXCELLENT protection and cushioning - EXCELLENT roughened palm that prevents slipping and improves grip. - Great design. Well designed, elegant, efficient, cool style. The 3-finger opening really helps avoid the claustrophobic, "lack of tactile response" feeling that comes with 5-finger gloves. BUT. After a while they smell strange. I know it sounds weird but it's true. I've found this common problem with MANY gloves. And trust me, I've used gloves of all brands and applications, and at work I'm responsible for distributing work-related materials. And yes, everyone I've given gloves to with this problem has said the same thing, so I know I'm not alone. I don't know what's causing it, but it has something to do with the rubber they're made of. After a few days, when it combines with your body's moisture, you'll know. I wash my hands several times and yet it stays with me. I've washed them at least 6 times and they're still there. But that's a small price to pay! These gloves are great! I'm not kidding, I'm a tough critic so my 5 star rating is proof of that!
