We put them on a stone wall in our two year old room. It is made of glued cardboard and 2x4. I've bought this and other brands for various grips. I preferred the other set slightly to this one. When we were about halfway through the holes the drill started to dull but it did the job. The front of these grips is textured while the sides are not and are actually very smooth. Not the best option for shooting. The shapes don't have much variety and are all smaller than the other sets we have. In comparison, I liked the studs and butts that came with this set better than the others. I'd probably be happy with them too if I didn't have both, but having them I wouldn't recommend them and would prefer two sets from others.
