This product cleaned my Gaggia Carezza Silver manual espresso machine perfectly. Now it works just as well as it did 5 years ago when it was new. But be careful: after you have decalcified as prescribed, IMMEDIATELY rinse with water (according to regulations) (not specified). Don't do it like me - ie. Wait about 20 minutes before washing off. As a result, the chemicals in the solution dried up on the filter plate and blocked it. It was easy to remove the filter plate and wet the chemicals with hot water. No harm done.
