The part was damaged
I study these parts carefully. Oddly enough, the Siemens markings on this part were scratched or burnt. Even though it was in OEM packaging, it was odd to see the markings removed. I installed it anyway and found it made things worse so I removed it and returned it to the seller. The seller was great and accepted returns with a refund. Just get bored with every part you put on your car and carefully inspect it.
