O-ring is thin, suitable for spare parts

The O-ring on it is so thin. This is the reason for the failure and why you will have an oil leak. You need to buy a better ring from your local auto shop and replace it before installation.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Works perfectly. Best in Sensors

This is OEM. What Hyundai should have. I've never had any luck with the crankshaft position sensor on my 2004 Hyundai Tiburon GT. Installed and I'm no longer stuck in lazy mode. I drive 100 miles a day (to and from work) 6 days a week and have had no problems.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • No automatic

OEM! I can't be wrong

Impressive that a genuine OEM product comes from Revain! The code was set for CPS and was not cleared. As expected, the insulation on the wires was burned. This fixed the problem and was top notch. Just a warning. Getting there with the 2005 Sonata V-6 is far from easy and requires some planning and a lot of patience.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Worked great on my 2004 Hyundai Tiburon GT V6. .

fit my 2004 Hyundai Tiburon GT V6 perfectly. I tried using an Auto7 gauge that advertised "Tier 1 and Tier 2 Manufacturing Processes" and it didn't work. the car drives and stops, drives and stops. This ORIGINAL OEM Hyundai crankshaft sensor worked great in comparison. The attached video is an example of a failed Auto7 sensor.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Clarity

Fits right in Santa Fe. Only OEM works.

Big difference, tried 2 aftermarket brands, nothing works. It was harder to glue. It took a light tap with a second pair of hands from above to set it right and then it worked like a charm! Should have bought an OEM first. Would save money in the long run and 4 days no commission. The seller delivered on time. The next day! Thank you Revane Prime.

Cons
  • Not all fit

The part was damaged

I study these parts carefully. Oddly enough, the Siemens markings on this part were scratched or burnt. Even though it was in OEM packaging, it was odd to see the markings removed. I installed it anyway and found it made things worse so I removed it and returned it to the seller. The seller was great and accepted returns with a refund. Just get bored with every part you put on your car and carefully inspect it.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not reliable

Here you need an original part!

After two non-genuine crankshaft sensor installations and subsequent problems with both (engine stalls, won't start, loss of power) I took the advice of a licensed auto mechanic and spent a few bucks more to get it a Hyundai part. All I can say is this. For the first time in months, SantaFe has once again proven itself to be a reliable mode of transportation! It is highly recommended that this sensor be installed in place of the aftermarket supplier's sensor.

Pros
  • Multiple competitors
Cons
  • Dull packaging

Difficult to install but do it yourself

I have previously replaced this sensor with a new one. A faulty sensor will set code P0335 - Crankshaft Position Sensor. On the 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe, the 2.7L sensor is installed in the center of the center block behind the exhaust manifold. The best way to access this sensor is to remove the starter and lower it down. Also remove the oil filter after draining the oil. The sensor and mounting nut are visible from where the oil filter is installed. Hang a lamp in and make sure the engine is…

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Useless features
