Perfect for a 1960's valve
This pen was just what I needed to replace my broken one. The valve was from the early 1960's so I doubted it would fit, but it did. I ordered a 16 pt 1/2" red piece. The inside diameter of the hole that connects to the shank is closer to 3/8" which is what I wanted. Hope this helps someone as it's getting harder and harder to find parts for older valves.
