Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

There are 5 disks like this one in the computer, along with one disk (also a barracuda) for 750. Taking into consideration the fact that the disks have been in my computer for the past four years and do not operate for a standard eight hours per day, each of the disks from a variety of years of production, ranging from 2022 to 2022, has already been put through a substantial amount of use time. In all of the time that I personally used it with continuous recording, uploading, and information, there was not a single broken sector that showed up, and there was not a single error. In general, the thing that was in smart that was the worst was the operating time. A little over a year ago, one of the disks started making a rattling sound, but there was no discernible change in the way it worked. The pace of operation is adequate, the discs do not offer much in the way of brakes, but it is not high-speed like the Velociraptor. Enough to build a house with. The one and only thing that had me scratching my head was the somewhat high temperature of the disks while they were working; the temperature of each disk is typically around 44 degrees on average. These are the discs, in general, about which you can be certain that they will not crumble at the most inconvenient possible time.

Pros
  • Durability, a reasonable speed considering the price, and noise level (works quietly)
Cons
  • Heat
