I equipped this device with a strong magnet instead of a permanent mount because I intend to use it on multiple vehicles. A quick alligator clip on the back and ground studs on the tow plug and I was in business. Very easy to connect and there were plenty of cables to get the camera where I wanted it. I'm planning on getting a 12v battery pack to have even more flexibility with placement on my pontoon boat, but it would be very easy to hook up power from a tail light or a tow strap. Overall a great product with better picture quality than my stock GMC rear camera.
