Just got the USB 2.0 version, works fine except when I LCD with a Flat screen Dell E2211Hc use as a monitor. 2nd monitor, the pointer is displayed only on "reboot". In other words, if you log out (as an administrator or as a different user) and then log back in, the pointer will no longer appear on the 2nd screen. As soon as you restart again, it will appear again and work properly. EDIT 6-2-17: When I switched to an older Samsung SyncMaster 171s flat panel LCD monitor for the second screen, the pointer issue mentioned above went away. I'm thinking of getting a new ASUS monitor and trying it out as the SyncMaster is basically square and not widescreen. I searched and found the following possible solution to my Dell monitor pointer problems (but it did NOT help or improve anything): a. Clear the Show pointer trails check box.b. Clear the Enhance Pointer Precision.c check box. Click Apply. The PC is an HP Pavilion Slimline S5220Y with Windows 10 Home. Also, I got the latest driver from the Startech website and logged in as an administrator to install the driver (before connecting to Startech). Edit 7-24-17: Well I didn't get a new monitor, ended up returning this StarTech - it was too finicky and unreliable for my Windows 10 Home. As a result, I got a plug-in USB 2.0. Many Thanks.
