Review on Trimmer Andis D-8 Slimline Pro Li, chrome by Mateusz Biakowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent product, the best quality.

I know firsthand the lineup of the three largest manufacturers of power tools Wall (Moser) Andis, Oster. And I will say this that in the price group of models with combined power supply, in which Andis D-8 is declared, it has no compeors from the word at all. something that can somehow be compared in terms of cut quality and resource: Wall Beret (and Moser's parent and its clones) - the knife is removable, the cut is installed at the factory, you can't adjust the cut height, the batteries are weaker, the work time is less. Blade width is the same. Moser T-Cut clean cut is better - because 7200 rpm, it works quieter, the knife is wider, but there is no cut adjustment, and the batteries are Nickel, - a with time charging. The only drawback of the Andis D-8 is the dumb plastic that is black gloss, that is "chrome", which got on this model from cheaper Chinese clones. (Although I must say that the more expensive T-Outliner wireless model in gray plastic looks even scarier) . Color models (there are a couple of them) look brighter and more expensive. Andis D-8 allows you to adjust the "zero cut" of almost 0.1 mm, has an excellent battery, no memory effect, fast charging, has a charging gl. Any models of compeors that surp it in cut quality and other parameters (Detailer, T-outliner, BarberPro from Babulis) cost twice as much.

Pros
  • Ergonomics Possibility to set "zero" cut Battery Life Price (from sane sellers)
Cons
  • Although the United States is indicated as the place of manufacture, it does not leave the feeling that Andis marketers are saving on plastic. If functionality is more important to you, and you pay attention to design in the second place, D-8 is the best in this price segment.
