I bought the male and female versions of this to serve as a disconnect switch for my removable car battery (this is a project car). They have good connections inside with screw terminals. One of the two blocks was missing one of the four small clamps that tightened the screw. Instead of asking for a replacement, I put a ring terminal on the end of my cable and used the screw that came with it to connect it to the ring terminal. Works perfectly.
