I've just adopted a puppy and everything you expect happens - the unfortunate but inevitable smell of potty training. I wasn't sure how this product would work and I'm glad I tried it. I've also used Bissel Carpet Cleaner and it was great at removing stains, but was actually more effective at removing odors (I'm shocked too). The odor is more neutralizing and not obvious, which is ideal as it minimizes urine odor. I think I'll have to do this regularly to avoid the smell, but totally agree, even if it's a short-term solution for guests etc. This is day one and overall I am happy with this product/purchase. Hope this is helpful to others!
