This is a medium support ankle brace. I ordered two, one for each ankle, and one of them came with an unstitched ankle strap. I was about to return it but then realized part of the item was actually needed and I cut one over the other. They are adjustable and offer decent support. I have trouble dropping my foot and they give me ample support throughout the day. However, after wearing them for too many hours, they dig into my feet and seem to cut off blood flow to my toes a bit. Even if they're not very tight, they're meant to put pressure on the soles of your feet. I wouldn't recommend wearing them at night as they were really supportive enough for me.
