I love Fresh Step and have been using it for years. My normal bag weighs 7 pounds. That's the size I can handle. I used to have those plastic scoop bags, but the smell wouldn't hold back. Throw the bags in the trash can, the trash can just smells awful. Now, having placed the pen in the tray, I pick up the empty pouch. I attach a clothespin to the bag and every time I pick it up it goes in the bag. The bag has a double lining so that the smell does not come out of the bag. When it's time to change the pen, the "used" bag goes in the trash and I start over!
