Symptom: While vacuuming with your cordless Dyson V7 during long activations (more than 1 minute) your unit shuts off and will not start again until you plug it in for a short period.Causes:1. overload because you haven't been cleaning out your unit.2. Battery problems.Fix1. Clean all unit, especially the removable long, slightly conical filter2. Replace battery.I cleaned my unit first, because that is the no cost solution, but it did not solve the issue. I'd try this first, just in case. Then I replaced the OEM battery with this one, and my V7 is back in service. I have had this battery installed for a few months now and have had no issues.
