QC suffering.ring around charge port not lined up and gets stuck

**UPDATE 7/7/22**The company was relatively quick to respond to my message about the issue. Upon showing them the picture posted in this review, they told me this is not the norm and passed it along to their engineer. I was issued a full refund without any pushback. I have raised my review rating 2 more stars since they were responsive and did the right thing. Good replacement battery.

This replaced the original Dyson V7 Animal Pro vacuum battery. Works well. Easy to install, and the higher amp-hour rating makes it run longer between charges.

Charging port is not well aligned so not able to charge in wall mount

The install went okay but the internal battery is not well aligned with the case so the charger doesn’t easily insert. I ended up taking the charger out of the wall mount since the charger plug would bind on the vacuum cleaner body making removal difficult. Now I have to manually insert the plug to charge and then put the vacuum cleaner back into the wall mount after charging is complete.

Much better than the original battery

I've used the Dyson vacuum now almost a year with the new battery and can say that this battery has lasted longer on each use than the original battery. Very happy with its performance and longevity.

Bought this battery replacement for my dyson v7. I wasn’t expecting this battery to be as good as the original but now my Dyson is just like any other vacuum. This isn’t supplying enough power.

Great battery life, indeed better than the original. Only downside is that when removing the dyson from it's charge cradle, it now often sticks and needs pulling free.

this is my second purchase of a generic Dyson V7 replacement battery, the first replacement lasted approx 1 year. Installation was easy enough. You just need a tiny philips driver and patience. Fits in the charger fine and seems to last like the original.

Battery works great!

So far this battery is working as well and possibly better than the original. Install is a snap by just removing 3 screws then removing the old and replacing with the new. The battery was almost fully charged when I received so I used it immediately. I ran it for approx. 20 minutes with no issues. The adapter plug was a little tight at first so removing the Dyson from the charger was difficult but after a few charges the vacuum slides out of the charger with no problem. Great rejuvenation for the Dyson.

The Dyson is a bit tricky to disassemble to the point where the battery can be installed. The bevel surrounding the plug is not as smooth as the OEM battery, so inserting it into the wall charger takes a bit more attention. Runs great and has given me a "brand new" dyson.

Solid replacement for V7 but not double capacity

After two weeks of use it seems like a very solid replacement. However, if you are expecting it to have a capacity almost double of the OEM battery, you might be disappointed. The battery seems to last about 7 minutes on MAX power, which is the same as what you get with the OEM battery that has a much smaller rated capacity. The price on this one is still better, and the color actually matched perfectly.

Recommended! for my opinion

This product is simple yet amazing. It is really easy to install and gives you endless runtime if you already have bunch of batteries for your tools. It makes it a bit heavier in an unbalanced way since the batteries for the tools are designed to have balance when attached to their original tool. Overall its great if you have batteries for your tools. If not that would be an expensive option to have that switch.
