I drive a 2006 Solara. I had a whistling noise from the engine which I suspect was a vacuum leak. I tried unsuccessfully to find the source of the whistling with an old mechanical stethoscope lying idle. So, in short, I got this OBD reader. I watched a general video tutorial on OBD on Youtube. The diagnostic connector is easy to find under the dashboard. Easy to connect reader. It started quickly and reported battery status and engine RPM, but the old Toyota purred like a kitten, with no codes to indicate a possible leak source or anything. Let's get back to the stethoscope. Maybe. with a stop at Youtube University. The OBD reader looks very well made, durable and very easy to use.
