One would think that high and low temperature alarms would be a standard feature on all aquarium thermometers. It's not like this. I really had to search to find this, but I'm glad I did. I've had it in my tank for 2 weeks now and it works great. I have tested the accuracy with two other thermometers and it is spot on. It comes with double-sided magnetic strap and velcro straps. The sensor has a suction cup mount, but I didn't use it. I find it best to just let the probe hang freely in the water. The suction cup prevented me from cleaning the glass with a magnetic glass cleaner.
