If you don't have outlets on your porch either, but have always dreamed of cosplaying Clark Griswold, these wonderful folks have an offer for you. I ordered them this morning and they arrived tonight which is great and why it got stars in the first place. The light isn't very bright, but that was fine with me since I didn't need to see my house from space. The wire here is quite flimsy and will tangle at the slightest touch. This way you can easily spend a good half hour on your porch, even if you have trouble hanging it. Once your family has dutifully brought you some Tylenol, unpack your brand new Duracell AAs and carefully place them in the battery box. This will instantly kick into settings that I can only imagine are designed to induce seizures. Press the button to toggle between always on and off. Mine didn't seem to have any other features. But be careful because these lights can sense your joy and turn off instantly. If you get more and more diligent at that work because of the feeling of falling costs, they'll tune in again in the same crazy way. Relieved, you turn your attention to the rest of the decorations, only to find that they've gone offline again. Turns out the flimsy wiring that got them so tangled is a serious design flaw. They will check each connection to see where it may have failed, but good luck, you won't find a fault on the line. And here your Clark Griswold cosplay is complete. I'm sure they'll spring to life here in a few minutes, but even if they do, they'll be back once the Christmas crowds at the local col subside. And before you tell yourself that maybe they just shouldn't be hung outside, the product description says they can be used for outdoor decorating. I'm afraid they would have met the same fate even if they hadn't been hung from the rudder hooks. The wiring cannot support the weight of the lamps themselves, and even a wrong look can result in disconnection. I do not recommend.
