I thought long and hard about what size to order for my salamander tank. I chose 10"lx 7"wx 7/8"h and it's perfect for 10 gallons with the plant and the cover for them. It's shallow which is what I was really looking for so they don't sink. The color I like it as it goes well with the eco soil in the aquarium They spend a lot of time in the water tray unless buried elsewhere in the aquarium I would recommend this plate and it doesn't leak or have any issues Very happy with it.
