Review on Benriner Mandoline Slicer Japanese Stainless by Smokeythecryptkeeper Kaewchay

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Much better than expensive European mandolins

I have bought two more. One for my work kitchen and one for the house. I bought one when I was in culinary school and it has lasted for many years with semi-trained whipping help. My first one ended up breaking halfway through when my minions lost all the adjustment screws and somehow managed to damage the blade. I suggest removing the hardware holding the julienne and other blades when not in use to avoid losing them. Even if there is a safety guide on it, ALWAYS wear cut-out gloves. Mandolin injuries are no joke. My European fixed blade mandolin cost several times more than these and lost its sharpness almost immediately. The angled blade is far superior to the vertical European blade.
