Today I grabbed this dive case and started the video at 40ft. The seal kept the button pressed. I couldn't stop the video without turning off the whole camera (also difficult). I turned it back on and tried to take another shot but the button sucked. Several beautiful white tip reef sharks swam by and I couldn't capture the moment because this waterproof box is ineffective at depth. If you're just snorkeling or something I think you'll be fine, but be careful with scuba gear.
